Responsible for tracking trailer movement, keeping the yard organized; perform preventative maintenance on equipment and truck.
Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
· Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
· Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulation/guidelines.
· Responsible for trailer movement within the Lewistown facility.
· Yard organization and housekeeping.
· Preventative maintenance and housekeeping of switcher truck.
· Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
· Maintains accurate yard inventories and trailer pools.
· Assist with security. · Ability to operate safely in a fast pace environment.
· Strong communication and learning skills.
· Ability to work in a team orientated environment.
· Ability to operate all warehouse material handling equipment.
· Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
Education and experience requirements:
· Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent required.
· Commercial Drivers License.
Work Environment:
· Work in a manufacturing environment with the potential for exposure to dust during certain tasks.
Physical Requirements:
· Walk / stand / sit 100% of time during a 12–hour shift.
· Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, throughout shift.
· Occasional climbing and reaching.
· Occasional reaching overhead during shift.
· Frequent use of hand and foot controls.
· Operation of hand trucks, powered industrial trucks throughout shift.
· Continuous housekeeping by sweeping and organizing floor and work area.
· Occasional climbing of steps/ladders
