Description

Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating
workers, such as inspectors, precision workers, machine setters and operators,
assemblers, fabricators, and plant and system operators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor

of a transactional operations area. Involves using existing systems and

protocols.

Operate complex macines and systems, adjusting processes to optimize quality

and productivity. Also responsible for generating solutions to complex

inefficiencies.

Contribute data and information to production plans. Run reports, check

accuracy, and distribute information.

Lead a team performing routine work; conduct employee training in equipment

operations or work and safety procedures, or assign employee training to

experienced workers.

Follow the organization's EHS policies, procedures and mandatory instructions;

EDUCATION

High School diploma or GED required.

EXPERIENCE

Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, analytical, conflict resolution, time

management, and communication skills required.

Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems

(7 to 12 months)

Basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months)
