What You'll Do:
- Hunt for new business: Identify, qualify, and convert new warehousing and packaging opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic prospecting.
- Build and manage your own customer portfolio, focusing on long-term value and repeat business.
- Deliver impactful sales presentations that showcase Jillamy’s capabilities and customer-first approach.
- Provide accurate rate quotes and handle the full sales cycle from lead to booking.
- Stay sharp on our Warehouse Management System (WMS) features and operational strengths to clearly communicate value to customers.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with clients, keeping them informed of new services and building trust.
- Report on monthly revenue, expenses, and annual projections.
- Hit and exceed sales revenue and margin goals.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure customer satisfaction and operational success.
Requirements
? What You Bring:
- Proven experience in sales—specifically in warehousing, contract packaging, or transportation/logistics.
- In-depth understanding of warehousing operations and solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—you’re comfortable talking to anyone, from dock workers to C-suite execs.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience using CRM systems and logistics tech a plus.
