HR Coordinator $28 -$30 Per Hour

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The HR Coordinator is responsible for performing tasks pertaining to Payroll, Benefits, New Hires, and Team Member Recognition Activities..

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bi-Weekly payroll processing and submitting off-cycle requests to Corporate Payroll. This includes monitoring that supervisors are reviewing and auditing their team members time cards.
  • Daily Time and Attendance Tracking to ensure consistent application of Attendance Policy.
  • Daily Audits of Wage and Hour Compliance.
  • Participates in all Benefit related activity – New Hire Enrollment, Open Enrollment, and responding to team members questions.
  • As needed will facilitate New Hire Orientation
  • Maintain new hire files and team member data
  • Lead and coordinate MITER Foundation efforts
  • Lead and coordinate Team Member recognition activities
  • Other office administrative duties duties as assigned
  • Reflect MITER Brands and Milgard Quality Pillars in all interactions.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures related to all facets of job.

LEVEL OF SUPERVISION:

  • None

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience with HRIS and Time Keeping systems
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience with automated time and attendance/payroll system for 200+ employees.
  • Experience with Kronos a plus.
  • 2 to 5 Years experience with administrative HR tasks

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING:

  • High school diploma required
  • Training in Payroll, wage and hour law and timekeeping software preferred.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Computer literacy with ability to learn new software programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail

  • Ability to work in, and promote a team environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged sitting.
  • May be required to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs
  • Hand dexterity and strength.
  • Overtime may be required.
