Overview

CAES is seeking a Leader for our Program Management team in its historic and beautiful Lancaster, PA location. You'll report to the Site Lead there and be responsible for applying successful PM techniques resulting in the growth of the business and day-to-day leadership for our Program Managers.

This will involve the practical through implementing program management focus on cost, schedule and performance; as well as, being a dynamic people leader to your team through your investment in their professional development and personal commitment to achieve against business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Proposal Activities to include all steps of program proposals. Including but not limited to reviews and analyzes technical and cost proposal material and Request for Proposal (RFP) Terms and Conditions; coordinates proposal inputs with other departments as well as proposal letters.
  • Negotiates contracts with customers; establishes and monitors close liaison with customer representatives.
  • All aspects of Program Execution including but limited to providing for the development and maintenance of program plans and budgets covering the technical, financial and schedule aspects of the program.
  • Included but not limited to ensures compliance with Government, Company, customer, and industry specifications and regulations (I.E. FAR, DFAR, ITAR etc).
  • Communications including but not limited to coordinating the company position and serving as the primary representative in dealing with the customer and related contractors of program matters. Conducts all formal contract correspondence.
  • Professional Development including but not limited to establishing and maintaining personal, professional and technical image and relationships in the associated professions, customer communities, and within the Company.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree and three (3)+ years of experience; or Master's Degree and two (2)+ of years experience including leadership of a Program Management team.
  • Experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry interacting with DoD community.
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience; or Master's Degree and 4 years experience.
  • Existing relationships with customer base in the DoD industry.
  • Advanced Program Management experience.
  • PMI Certification.
  • Strong MicroSoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership attributes.
  • Strong presentation skills.
