As a Management and Program Analyst at the GS-0343-12 with a full performance level of GS-12 , you will be part of RS Retirement Operations Boyers, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of analytical, evaluative and project-type assignments in the area of supporting administering Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) and Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS).This announcement is open to current Career or Career-Conditional OPM employees.
For the GS12: You must have at least one year of experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal Government that includes knowledge of CSRS and/or FERS; knowledge of IT systems supporting retirement operation; planning and conducting projects and studies involving the development of new or modified work methods; making detailed analysis and studies of automated systems and/or operational activities to identify and resolve problems. This experience must also include collecting and analyzing data on administrative and program operations to develop and present reports on pending situations and matters.
Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS 12 level.
