Description As a PNC Intern, you will participate in a "best-in-class" internship program. Internal Audit assists the Board of Directors and management in accomplishing their objectives by determining the system of internal control is adequate and functioning effectively to sufficiently manage risk. PNC auditors strive to provide effective and efficient audit services that achieve the highest level of service and create value for the corporation, shareholders and service partners.

Job Description

PNC Auditors are responsible for testing the system of internal control and compliance with established policies and procedures. Auditors participate in a wide variety of auditing assignments under guidance and supervision of more experienced personnel.

  • Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering (BSA/AML)

Assignments include:

  • Assisting in performing and documenting audit procedures used to appraise the soundness and adequacy of the system of internal control
  • Applying accounting principles, accounting/auditing techniques
  • Assist in performing transactions and functional testing of books and records

The Internal Audit Summer Internship Program is located in Charlotte; Cleveland; Pittsburgh; and Raleigh, NC.

Work Experience

Roles at this level are filled by recent university / college graduates with little or no professional experience, but possessing relevant skills. Includes individuals joining the organization through a Corporate development/ training program. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
