You will be a key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in the Control Management functional area by leveraging your experience with IT storage management and governance. Bring your experience with evaluating and planning in preparation for improving storage backup systems and strengthen relationships with product engineering teams to lead initiatives while interacting with senior managers for automation and workflow enhancements.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact
- Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for storage and backup
- Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems
- Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements
- Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals
- Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives
Required Qualification:
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience with data storage technologies, applications, and storage hardware architectures
- 5+ years of experience working in distributed file systems environment
- 5+ years of experience in backup and recovery solutions such as Cohesity, Rubrik, Veritas or Avamar
- 5+ years of IT Service Delivery Interface including IT System Monitoring, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, Service Level Management and Availability Management experience
- 5+ years of experience influencing management on technical or business solutions
- 5+ years of experience in leading and facilitating analysis of current systems, problem identification and resolution
?Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Risk Management or Business Controls experience
- 2+ years of experience with Enterprise monitoring and visualization tools like Prometheus/Grafana, AppDynamics, Google logging, Elasticsearch, Splunk, GitHub, Big Panda and ServiceNow
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and business audiences
- Experience in IT Capacity Management
- Experience in Process automation, machine learning engineering, data engineering, Software engineering, and building pipelines automation
- Understanding of Agile practices and ability to work with Agile teams to define and track user stories
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-functioning, collaborative team of professionals, including the ability to form relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong knowledge and experience with deploying automations at scale in cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure

Pay Range:
- New York - New York Pay Range: $115,900 - $206,100 Annually
