About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Owner/Lead Business Analyst (Lead Business Execution Consultant) for our Financial Crimes Operations Transformation & Product team, focusing on the development and enhancement of enterprise Financial Crimes solutions, including the sunrise of an Enterprise KYC platform. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements to support compliance with regulatory standards and optimize KYC processes. In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams
  • Act as a key participant in providing strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives
  • Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives
  • Define and lead detailed research on business and technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions
  • Lead project or systems documentation, and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables
  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for complex business problems
  • Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Wells Fargo Financial Crimes experience preferred

• Strong understanding of KYC processes, regulatory requirements and best practices

• Familiarity with KYC technologies, data integration, and workflow automation tools

• Experience with Fenergo or other configurable vendor solutions

• Knowledge of enterprise software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies

• Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)

• Experience writing epics, features and user stories using tools like JIRA

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Proactive and adaptable mindset in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

New York Pay Range: $120,400 - $287,600 New York (this range may not be applicable to other locations)

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$115,900.00 - $206,100.00
