The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is looking for a Director for the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Office to lead our enterprise EEO organization into the future.
This is a unique opportunity for a bold and strategic thinker to modernize and redesign our EEO processes. You will develop program goals and objectives and evaluate the effectiveness of program initiatives.
This is your opportunity to make positive change at the highest level, as you will serve as an advisor to the Secretary of Administration and other senior executives on EEO matters and initiatives.

You will ensure equal opportunity for applicants and employees, establish a program to prevent discriminatory practices in commonwealth agencies, and develop and maintain EEO-related policies.
You will also ensure the legality of policies and procedures and identify how changes in laws impact these policies and programs.7 years of experience in Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), including 2 years of supervisory/administrative experience, and a bachelor's degree.
Coursework in Legal Studies, Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Public Policy
Experience in equal opportunity, affirmative action, equity, employee relations, law/legal field, law enforcement, social science, or related field
Demonstrated professional work experience with handling confidential and sensitive personnel or personal data.
Demonstrated experience accessing data and conducting Affirmative Action and EEO analysis.
Demonstrated experience in building strong partnerships both internally and externally including with culturally and ethnically diverse populations.
