The Opportunity

Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Content Production, the Multimedia Producer will conceptualize, develop and write innovative scripts for content across all QVC Group platforms.

Your Impact

  • Collaborate closely with our requesting partners to ensure that content is consistent with established strategies, brand guidelines, and goals.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and meet the standards of QVC Group and our partners.
  • Meet with stakeholders to present concepts, scripts and timelines while finding efficiencies for content production across multiple platforms.
  • Write compelling scripts and copy to ensure customer engagement and on-trend content creation.
  • Work with production team, stylists and set designers to ensure that your vision is properly communicated and realized.
  • Direct talent and crew during in-studio and location video shoots in a way that instills confidence and eagerness to achieve the best possible results.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and shoot schedules and stay current with emerging technology and best practices.
  • You will oversee editing scripts with the edit team and work closely with the editor by providing timely feedback to ensure project due dates are met.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film/Video Production, Multimedia Arts, Communications or related field.
  • Proven experience producing nationally distributed video content with an emphasis on retail and commercial work.
  • Willingness to shoot and edit video as needed with basic proficiency with software such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Must feel confident self-shooting social media (vertical) content on producer assigned cell phone
  • Strong creative vision and storytelling abilities (while demonstrating excellent taste).
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills both on set and with colleagues across the company.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of production equipment, cameras, lighting, audio recording, and terminology.
  • Deep understanding of current and emerging social media platforms and trends.
  • *Portfolio of relevant creative video work.
  • Experience working with celebrity/high-level talent
  • Available to travel domestically (typically 1-6x a year)
  • Available to shoot nights/weekend (typically 1-6x a year)
  • Spanish speaker is a plus
