This position assists the Manager, Catering Events in the planning and execution of banquet catering events for the Hershey Country Club. This position will be tasked with leading the Coordinator, Set Up and Server staff to prepare and execute events for our Banquet clientele up to approximately 300 guests.

Create and detail Banquet Event Orders (BEO) for upcoming catered events to include advance planning meetings with clients. Maintain updated information to include head counts and special requests in advance of the function.*

Responsible for operational oversight of golf tournament catering to include on–course F&B needs, alcohol service requests and pre/post event catering.*

Direct and supervise Banquet servers to ensure proper reception and dining table set-ups and to provide our guests with the highest level of service through efficient planning and proper management of each banquet event.*

During events, collaborate with culinary staff to review pertinent details including guarantees, timing, and food preparation details. Coordinate the timing of courses with entertainers to ensure proper service to the clients’ satisfaction.*

Direct the Set-up staff for appropriate buffet tables and room set-up. Ensure all banquets areas are always clean and free of furniture when not in use.*

Accurately complete bills & Banquet Manager Reports following each banquet event.*

Coach, council and discipline the staff as needed, providing proper documentation. Be familiar with rules and regulations of the employee handbook, HCC policies and procedures, and current Union contract.*

Assist with hiring, training, development, and performance of the staff.*

Establish and maintain a safe working environment for the staff and guests.*
