About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Systems Operation Engineer that will support our Rates Modernization domain under Enterprise Product & Pricing Management (EPPM). This role will focus on product delivery management including Release Management, Testing Coordination, and other product planning practices.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex release coordination across the product impacting initiatives including provision of high level systems consultation for the technology teams
  • Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area
  • Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems
  • Make code release and testing decisions on technical changes and enhancements
  • Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Program Management
  • 5+ years Release Coordination with hands on experience with the enterprise tool Service Now
  • 5+ Oversight of multiple product teams that implement large-scale planning and modern delivery practices
  • 4+ years acting as a Testing authority at the product level
  • Coordinates cross-functional teams and manages dependencies across various products and platforms to ensure cohesive, timely deployment of hardware and software
  • Communicates frequently with stakeholders, escalates impediments, helps manage risk, and drives relentless improvement
  • Partners with the product manager to support product delivery with an agile, product, and modern-engineering mindset. Champions these mindsets to enable the delivery of customer-centric products
  • Assists in ensuring compliance, SDLC and ECM/ change management efforts are understood and adopted across the product
  • Serves as a coach to those across product lines and upward, ensuring clarity in the behaviors and practices required to successfully implement the product operating model
  • Fosters collaboration, mentors team members, and drives continuous improvement
  • Provides strategic vision and leadership to optimize delivery performance and drive organizational success
