Description
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA Host and Compute, Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability Division.In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as
experience providing technical advice and guidance for analysis, design, development, deployment, configuration or evaluation of secure cloud architectures at all classification levels and developing new methods, procedures, techniques, and approaches to ensure consideration of security criteria, guidance, and methodology are applied to cloud capabilities.
Contracting Foundational/Professional:
Selectee must have their Contracting Professional Certification (or be eligible for certification within 36 months of appointment) in the DAWIA Contracting Functional Area. Acquisition workforce employees must achieve 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two years, in accordance with DoDI 5000.66. Obtaining certification within the allotted grace period and maintaining CLPs before and after achieving certification are conditions of employment. If certification is not received within 36 months of appointment as defined by DAWIA, and training not completed within the established guidelines, the incumbent might be removed from this position. Salary
146,481.00 - 195,200.00 Annual
