What you will do
The Global Headquarters for Volvo Financial Services is seeking a Senior IT Compliance Analyst for the Privacy, Vendor & Runtime Management team of VFS Digital and IT to ensure our company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies.
As Senior IT Compliance Analyst, you will support the VFS D&IT organization to ensure that our IT systems meet security, quality, risk and compliance requirements.
- Together with your colleagues at VFS and in the broad cross-functional network at the Volvo Group, you will take responsibilities in the following areas:
- Collaborate with various departments to identify and resolve compliance issues
- Assess IT initiatives and Digital Products for compliance with privacy requirements, safeguarding customer data and maintaining trust
- Monitor and support the implementation of IT controls and security requirements, enhancing overall cybersecurity
- Support the VFS Digital & IT community regarding IT Operations best practices and standards. This includes building a robust knowledge base and providing targeted training for Digital Product Owners
- Support our initiatives to improve overall compliance and quality of our application portfolio through tooling, process improvement and knowledge management
- Participate in Volvo Group and VFS forums to stay abreast of the latest process and requirements, actively share knowledge and contributing to improving Group-wide processes

The preferred location is Gothenburg, Sweden where we are establishing our new Global Hub; alternative locations are Wroclaw, Poland and Greensboro, US.

- Qualifications likely required to be successful in this role include:
- University degree in Law, Business Administration, IT or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as IT Compliance Analyst or a similar role
- Profound knowledge of privacy regulations, such as GDPR, and industry best practices
- Good understanding of principles and standards for IT Delivery, including security, compliance, quality and risk
- Experience in ITSM, ITIL and SDLC is preferred
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex requirements and assess the impact on the organization
- Experience in developing and implementing effective company-wide processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Problem solving attitude and ability to provide pragmatic solutions
- Financial Services industry experience favorable
- Proficiency in English (oral and written) is a must
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to work in multi-cultural and diverse environments
