Job Description
Lawn and garden repair shop looking to hire full-time small engine mechanic. Ideal candidate should be able to perform equipment maintenance, diagnostics, repair and setup. Employee will be expected to learn a specialized computer program used in our industry and should be efficient in using the internet. We are a small family owned business (20 years strong) looking for an employee to grow in their duties as our company grows.
Employee's regular hours will be 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday with a half hour lunch. Ability to work until 7 PM on Monday or Thursday evenings and 8 AM to Noon on Saturdays may be expected on occasion or to make up for missed time under certain circumstances. No smoking on premises.
Must be able to walk one flight of stairs safely, lift up to 50 lbs, work well independently and with others, and show up on time.
After successful completion of a 90 day orientation period employee will begin to accrue paid time off and will receive six paid holidays per year. Insurance reimbursement allowance is available for those who qualify.
Looking to start ASAP when ideal candidate is found. Shop is equipped with Heftee Lifts and tools are provided.
