About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant as part of the CIB Banking and CRE Business Execution Services (BES) team, supporting business transformation and capital optimization initiatives across Banking, Commercial Real Estate and Structured Products Groups.
This role will be responsible for leading and supporting the execution of strategically important initiatives, which will involve in technology (including traditional and AI solutions), business process or organizational redesign outcomes, as well as the development and launch of new products.
These initiatives will focus on developing core, common and shared approaches to credit policy simplification, middle office operations and reporting and analytics, as well as the building capabilities to optimizing risk weighted assets held against CIB loan exposures.

In this role, you will:
- Lead projects and workstreams with responsibility for performing analysis, creating deliverables and meeting timelines to implement CIB lending transformation outcomes
- Drive decision making and issue resolution in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of corporate lending products
- Use problem solving and analytical skills to develop approaches and solutions (process improvement, change management, product management, projects, etc.) to solve complex issues
- Lead the development and management of project plans, status & reporting, dependencies, issues, and risks partnering with the Business, Technology and other key stakeholders on the planning, execution and management of the initiative
- Lead and influence other project resources business stakeholders and partner teams to provide requirements, make decisions and create deliverables needed for successful delivery
- Proactively engage and partner with Business, Technology, Operations, Risk and other key stakeholders to define prioritization and drive the execution of strategic initiatives from initiation to implementation to transition to BAU
- Develop and maintain multi-year roadmap of strategic capabilities and product build out considering business strategy and regulatory environment
- Ensure that internal change policy requirements are met and all risk and control assessments, reviews and approvals are completed as part of operational readiness to roll out deliverables
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in one or a combination of the following: Banking, Lending, program or project management, strategic planning, or implementation
- Experience leading the definition and delivery of large-scale complex and strategic initiatives from inception to implementation, within a “Big 5” consultancy or lending financial institution
- Demonstrated experience in implementing Banking and/or Commercial Real Estate solutions
- Experience managing complex projects in a large enterprise environment with high risk and complexity
- Subject matter expertise in CIB Banking and/or CRE, including but not limited to credit origination, underwriting, credit approval, booking and funding, servicing, and portfolio management of both balance sheet & third-party loans in commercial or corporate lending
- Ability to lead cross functional area initiatives and delivery teams in a matrix management environment, including multiple technology and business teams
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and execution and use of change management, process improvement, product development and project delivery methodologies, including Agile
- Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data and effectively resolving issues and conflicts as they arise
- Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with business partners, project participants and work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Experience presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization including senior leadership
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
