Description You will serve as a Personnel Security Specialist (Suitability) in the office of ASN (M&RA) Office of Civlian Human Resources.

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered.Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following duties: 1.) Determining the full range of suitability adjudications, security and trust determinations of individuals for entry into sensitive and nonsensitive positions; 2.) Interpreting and implementing personnel suitability policies, guidelines and directives; 3.) Reviewing, evaluating, and adjudicating reports of investigations, personnel files and other records; 4.) Interviewing applicants to resolve questions concerning derogatory information developed during investigations; and 5.) Estimating and reporting on expected time of completion of work, maintaining records of work accomplishments and time expended and preparing production reports.
