QVC's Distribution Division has an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to provide assistance as a Battery and Warehouse Assistant in our Maintenance Department at our Florence location.

Your Impact
- Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor assists in the collection of cardboard and debris throughout the site, including Jewelry. The position provides facilities support in general housekeeping, trash removal; sorts stretch film, other recyclable materials, and trash for recycling. Changes P.I.T. batteries and maintains operating capability and general cleanliness of battery changing area. This position requires the operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including gas powered fork trucks, TSP's, PE's, RR's, RC's, scissors lifts, boom lifts, one-man lifts, and gas powered floor sweepers. All of this MHE is used in the performance of their everyday job to clear jams, assist in the repairs of facilities machinery, and in the maintenance of the facilities appearance. The successful team player will be asked to assist in battery changing and floor sweeping, as well as assist with facility events, indoors and outdoors. Follows all company safety and security procedures. Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Performs other related activities as assigned and needed.
What You Bring
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of training and education.
- Must be able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as assigned.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
- Must be MHE certified on all equipment.
Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
