Description You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Assistant Commander (ACOM) for Supply Chain Management Policy and Performance of CNSSC OPERATIONAL SUPPORT FIELD.Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Logisitc Management Specialist specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Expertise applying Integrated Logistics Support elements which include Product Support Management, Maintenance Planning and Management, Supply Support, Design Interface, Sustaining Engineering, Technical and Product Data, Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T), Manpower and Personnel, Facilities and/or Infrastructure, and Information Technology (IT) systems in order to ensure alignment and standardization of effective life-cycle sustainment policies, processes, and tools. Examples of specialized experience may include the following 1) Influencing system design to provide timely, affordable, effective, and best-value product support throughout the system life cycle; 2) Promoting product supportability during the acquisition and sustainment phases of the system life cycle to optimize system readiness & life cycle cost affordability via outcome-based product support strategies; 3) Developing/facilitating teams that plan, organize and direct complex efforts including the development of Supply Support Plans, Concepts of Operations and Lifecycle Logistics Analysis of Alternatives, and Lifecycle support plans and objectives; 4) Applying a significant level of knowledge in Acquisition Logistics policy, guidance, principles and practices and is able to use the knowledge in support of building strategic partnerships across the NAVSUP enterprise and higher Echelon activities; and 5) Preparing and delivering highly technical oral and written briefs to internal and external high ranking officials to explain and defend recommendations that impact platform and program execution and resource support.
