Overview

Are YOU a wizard at FP&A and Business Intelligence? CAES by Honeywell is seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst with strong BI/Data Analytics skills to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing data-driven insights, supporting financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, and developing Business Intelligence (BI) reports to drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, data visualization, and business analytics, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Develop financial models and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
  • Support leadership with data-driven recommendations for cost optimization and revenue growth.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
  • Develop scenario analysis and improve forecasting processes and techniques.

Business Intelligence (BI) & Data Analytics:

  • Design and develop BI dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Automate data collection, reporting, and visualization reporting tools.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define business requirement and improve data accuracy.
  • Support cross-functional teams with ad hoc analysis and decision-making tools.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' of relevant experience with demonstrated experience in financial analysis or accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and financial reporting tools.
  • Minimum of 3 years' of complex data analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).

Preferred:

  • Prior experience working with cross-functional teams in finance, operation, program management, supply chain, and others.
  • Storytelling – demonstrate ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, challenge, communicate, motivate and persuade.
  • Interest in the Aerospace & Defense Industry.
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple projects while still achieving deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and forecasting ability.

Salary Range: $98,000- $120,000 Annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
