The Health and Human Services (HHS) IT Delivery Center is looking for an Information Technology Generalist 1 to join our team. As an IT Generalist 1, you will be tasked with providing first contact technical support to users for desktop hardware as well as software and network communication related issues. You will have the opportunity to provide technical assistance via phone calls to the Service Desk and/or email notifications from internal and external customers. This position is responsible for documenting call information, monitoring issues to ensure timely resolution, as well as analyzing and resolving inter-connectivity.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You must come into the office at minimum one day per month. You will be expected to work from home (telework) for the reminder of your work schedule but this could change and you may be required to come into the office more frequently. The office is headquartered at 2525 North 7th Street, Harrisburg. You must have a securely configured high-speed Internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology Technician; or
- Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services; or
- One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
