From creative writing to statistics and data science, behavioral economics to social and political history, Dietrich College is home to 11 humanities and social sciences departments, programs and institutes. Our world-class faculty and students work across subject areas to investigate and solve real-world problems.

Our College of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking to fill the position of Prelaw Program Assistant. Reporting directly to the Associate Dean of the College and Prelaw Advisor, the Prelaw Program Assistant will support the prelaw advisor and his staff in the development of various elements of the prelaw program. This is a fixed term part-time position working approximately 15-20 hours per week.

Core Responsibilities

  • Creation of several law alumni profiles for the monthly prelaw news letter
  • Updating elements of the prelaw program website
  • Development of an event activity schedule for the prelaw program's 2025-2026 academic year
  • Administrative and project support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and reasoning skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, collaboration and planning skills
  • Strong interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the field of law
  • A combination of education and proven experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
