In this position the Clerical Assistant 2 (CA2) is responsible for processing all applications for title and/or registration for Snowmobiles and ATVs received by the Commonwealth.  You will review new applications for completeness and correctness and make inquiries into any discrepancies found in vehicle identification number (VIN), registration number, applicant information, or other details when reviewing applications for processing.  The CA2 will follow established procedures regarding resolution of the issue in question.  Other responsibilities include assigning vehicle registration numbers to new applicants as requested and processing check payments accompanying applications accurately.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS 
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
