Planning, organizing, and assigning all work to staff to ensure timely completion.
Providing training and guidance on policies and procedures in a prompt and knowledgeable fashion, and providing information to staff on appropriate resources available to the elderly.
Implementing procedures to conform with PDA program policies, including, but not limited to OPTIONS, Cost Sharing, SAMS/OMNIA, Family Caregiver Support, Domiciliary Care, and Care Management programs.
Monitoring, reviewing, and approving all paperwork and data entered into the agency database by care managers and analyzing for completeness and adherence to established standards.
Conducting regular case conferences with each care manager.
Conducting supervisory field visits.
Representing staff needs and concerns to administrative staff to ensure productive working relationships within the agency.
Specifying training needs of staff within the unit and arranging for appropriate training programs.
Making presentations to community groups regarding aging services.
This position is responsible for the Personal Emergency Response and Medical Supplies Programs.
