The Clerk Typist 3 provides routine and complex clerical assistance to the department to include answering telephones, greeting visitors, processing mail, and maintaining departmental records filing system. You will operate a personal computer and other office equipment to complete essential functions such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and system software. Your responsibilities include typing general office correspondence such as reports, letters, case notes/dictation, plans, and placement packets.

Additional duties to include but not limited to:

  • Conduct daily courier service between CYS office, Courthouse and Government Center
  • Monitor and purchase office supplies
  • Monitor Agency vehicles maintenance logs
  • Arrange for routine vehicle maintenance


Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment.
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerk Typist 2, and educational development to the level of completion of high school; or
  • One year of progressively complex clerical typing experience and completion of high school; or
  • Six months of moderately complex clerical typing work and completion of a post high school business curriculum; or
  • Any equivalent experience and/or training which provided the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.
