The Senior Manager position is responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight of The Chocolatier. This role directs and works closely with the management team and employees to successfully execute all Front of House restaurant operations. The Senior Manager is focused on providing outstanding guest service while striving to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction all while maximizing the financial performance in areas of responsibility. This position reports to the General Manager of The HE&R Restaurant Group

Job Duties (Items marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this position):
- Monitor daily revenue to ensure the restaurant is meeting financial objectives. Implement day-to-day promotions and other interventions as needed to reach revenue goals.*
- Manage operating costs through effective ordering and inventory control. Monitor operational efficiencies, food waste, and other sources of loss. Control costs in relation to labor, purchases, inventory, and waste through consistent and proactive use of revenue data and implementation of corrective actions.*
- Maintain fast, accurate service, and positive guest relations, and ensure products are consistent with company quality standards. Ensure food quality and 100% customer satisfaction. Respond to guest concerns as needed.*
- Hire, motivate, evaluate, and train staff including FOH Managers in support of developing a cohesive and effective team.*
- Evaluate and implement practices and standards in support of achieving operational goals. Ensure all initiatives adhere to brand standards and support restaurant performance.*
- Drive restaurant profitability through initiatives to raise check averages, guest loyalty, and overall revenue. Analyze and use data to identify potential issues and opportunities for growth.*
- Achieve restaurant operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews. Assist in the development of long-term strategic objectives.*
- Work with the management team to ensure the execution of company initiatives and procedures.
- Work collaboratively to ensure effective safety, sanitation, customer service, and food preparation is adhered to at all times.*
- Conduct regular audits, inventories, and reviews and complete all associated paperwork and reporting.*
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and implement marketing and social media strategies to generate sales.*
- Assist Executive Chef in menu development. Evaluate menu choices to ensure they are profitable, practical, and support the brand.*

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of related experience.

Industry Experience - Food & Beverage

Minimum of 3 years of management experience.

18 years of age or older.

Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.

Proficient working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time.

Post-Employment - ServSafe Certification, RAMP

Completion of high school or GED
