The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, of Fulfillment Center Operations, the Area Manager will manage the tactical functionality of their department. You will be responsible for fulfillment center goals for your team. Through coaching and development of your team, you will also focus on cultural goals to develop an engaged and safe team.

Your Impact

  • Develop and administer operational procedures for perfectly completing activities for incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and keeping the highest standards of inventory accuracy.
  • Network and consult with corporate / site resources and facilities staff to ensure low-cost efficiencies and high service levels are maintained.
  • Build a positive, motivating, engaged Culture by modeling Qurate Values and operating principles, ensuring all employees are treated fairly, ethically, and respectfully.
  • Review existing operations to determine what improvements can be made to the department, which allows for cost reduction, increased speed, and improved customer service.
  • Oversee daily operations for assigned area, partnering with other departments.
  • Identify, report, and communicate with the Department Manager trends and irregularities. Take an approach to analyzing deficiencies and develop plans to correct them.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated Leadership/Supervisory experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or retail environment.

Night Shift- Monday-Thursday 5:30pm-5:15 am
