What you will do
- As a Creative Content Intern at Mack Trucks Inc., this role will help support the marketing team's efforts to communicate the brand's message and engage with our target audience. This role will be responsible for creating content to support various marketing communications activities, including content creation, digital marketing, public relations, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Design and develop engaging and compelling content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, and print materials.
- Shoot, edit, and deliver content using the approved technology stack for internal and external customers.
- Actively support the Mack Studio by developing project timelines and schedules as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights to create content that aligns with the brand's messaging and marketing objectives.
- Ensure timely delivery of content.
Live Video Productions:
- Coordinate and support live video production initiatives, including webinars, live streaming events, and product launches.
- Work with the video production team to ensure high-quality and engaging live video content.
- Digital Marketing:
- Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Maintenance of content repositories and systems.
- Input metadata and keywords to content assets to optimize search functionality on DAM and CMS sites.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment and consistency in communication efforts.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Give regular reports on the performance of marketing communications initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on reports to enhance future campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship. You must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing communications or a related role.
- Video and photography experience
- Adobe Creative Cloud knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Familiarity with content creation and social media tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a creative mindset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Summer interns may work up to 40 hours per week

For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $16.00 - $46.00. The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study.
