About the Position:
This position functions as the Mega Project Team Chief for a major design and construction program. The Program includes multiple Mega Projects that are of national significance and are large, complex, and comprehensive in scope.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the specialized experience requirements listed below:
Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes managing, directing and coordinating activities of regional and national support for a multibillion dollar design and construction program utilizing state of the art earned value management systems, risk management tools, and large/complex schedules; providing organizational and staff leadership in controlling cost and schedule while developing project schedules, budgets, manpower needs, and milestones for programming and project management purposes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13)For this job at the GS-14 grade level, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
