• Our client, a leading manufacturing company is searching for a talented Buyer. The selected individual will be in a key role in a dynamic manufacturing environment with great growth potential.
  
  This position will be responsible for the following:
  
• Plan, negotiate, and purchase raw materials.
  
• Procure MRO, packaging supplies, and service
  
• Maintain inventory records and operational performance
  
• Coordinate raw material and packaging inventory
  
• Oversee and schedule bulk truck and receiving of other materials
  
• Initiate and finalize subcontract operations.
  
  Qualifications & Requirements:
  
• Associates' degree with 2 years solid manufacturing purchasing experience.
  
• Experience in material management, purchasing, planning & manufacturing processes (5S, lean, demand flow, kaizen)
  
• MRP/ERP experience
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills to conduct research and improve processes
  
• Ability to quantify the value of projects
  
• Self-directed individual who has the ability to work with minimal supervision and achieve results.
