The Office of Medical Assistance Programs (OMAP) is seeking a Human Services Analyst to support the administration of the Medicaid program for Pennsylvanians with specific health care needs, including pregnant women, children, and individuals with disabilities. As a Human Services Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating statewide Medical Assistance (MA) policies related to benefit coverage for MA-eligible Special Populations and MA Program initiatives for Special Populations. Your duties will include interpreting and analyzing laws and court decisions that impact the MA Program’s delivery system to provide comments on proposed documents and determine the necessity of revising policies. You will also interpret federal and state regulations to develop, write, and modify policies and procedures to be followed for services rendered to MA beneficiaries. In this position, you will maintain responsibility for the development, revision, interpretation, and clarification of MA Program policies and procedures related to beneficiaries with disabilities. Your role also includes conducting research, then evaluating information used as a basis for writing policy and procedures. Additionally, you will develop or assist in the preparation of a variety of written materials for both internal and public distribution.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with a minimum of one day per month in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
