MITER Brands is one of the nation’s largest manufacturers of residential windows and patio doors. We are seeking a Vice President of Product Management to join our team. This strategic role drives MITER Brands’ product strategy and provides business leadership to meet and exceed the company’s revenue and profitability targets. The Vice President of Product Management is responsible for managing all aspects of the product portfolio, establishing pricing strategies, analyzing profitability and market trends, and overseeing customer feedback programs to enhance existing products and drive new product development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product roadmaps and manage the product lifecycle to align with business strategy
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and competitive landscape through a variety of market research sources and methods.• Develop strategies that enable profitable sales growth with the customers we serve
  • Devise channel-specific and market-specific plans to beat the competition by articulating the unique features and benefits of our full product portfolio
  • Work with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to develop new products that meet current and future customer and market requirements
  • Define resource requirements necessary to execute the product roadmap
  • Work cross-functionally to define strategies and project plans aligned with business objectives
  • Manage pricing and profitability to achieve desired market position and margin targets
  • Develop the annual operating plan for the comprehensive product portfolio• Manage product lines as a revenue/profit center to achieve company financial goals and objectives
  • Ensure that product lines are equipped with appropriate technology and features to drive sales and margin growth targets
  • Plan product launches, including the development of marketing and sales plans
  • Support Sales and Operations in delivering sustained profitable growth
  • Analyze product, customer, and channel profitability and develop plans to optimize performance
  • Provide demand forecast inputs to S&OP
  • Attend customer meetings in support of the sales process
  • Develop resources, collateral, programs, and training content that enable sales to articulate the value proposition and support the sales process
  • Meet/exceed targets on the following KPIs
  • Sales Revenue
  • Customer and Product profitability (margin $ and %)
  • Market share
  • Product launches on time and within budget
  • Value-add and cost-reduction targets
  • Forecast accuracy
  • Market and competitor intelligence accuracy
  • Organizational alignment for product roadmap
  • Customer VOC process management

Minimum Requirements

  • BS in Business, Marketing, Communications or other associated major, MBA a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, pricing, marketing, or sales
  • 5+ years of experience in building materials industry
  • 5+ years in a leadership or management role
  • High level of customer focus
  • Interface with individuals with diverse backgrounds at varying levels of the organization
  • Strong commercial and technical skills background
