This position is a part of the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Inspector General (OIG), Deputy Inspector General for Audit. As a Student Trainee (Financial Clerk), you will be responsible for assisting teams that perform audits of DoD finance and accounting systems, or that conduct performance audits of functions and activities used to carry out DoD responsibilities.Internship Program Eligibility
Applicants must be currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment and seeking a degree, diploma, or certificate in a qualifying educational institution on a full or half-time basis, as defined by the educational institution.
Applicants must have completed, or will have completed by their date of hire, at least two years of education above the high school level. The education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college, or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or at least 20 classroom hours per week for a minimum of 36 weeks.
