Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Completions Avionics Technician to join our team in Philadelphia. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful installation, integration, and testing of avionics systems and components in aircraft during the completions process. The successful candidate will be proficient in reading and interpreting technical documentation, performing system installations, troubleshooting avionics systems, and managing equipment logs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within the team are essential to ensure quality and efficiency in aircraft completions.

Job Description:

-Inspect, Repair, and Modify Avionics Systems: Perform inspections, repairs, and modifications to avionics systems, including communication, navigation, collision avoidance, target acquisition, and automatic flight control systems to ensure optimal functionality during the aircraft completions process.

-Work Area Maintenance: Clean and organize the work area at the end of each shift to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.

-System Documentation and Logging: Utilize the SAP computer system for accurate sign-offs, job documentation, and time logging to track project progress and ensure compliance with quality standards.

-Power System Maintenance: Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair both AC and DC power generation, conversion, and distribution systems, as well as aircraft batteries, ensuring reliability and performance of all electrical systems.

-Overtime and Travel Requirements: Be available for overtime and travel as needed to support the completion of avionics installation and troubleshooting tasks.

-Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned to support aircraft completions and ensure the highest level of quality and safety in all avionics systems and components.

Requirements/Licensing:

FAA A&P Certificate

-3+ Years of aircraft maintenance (Helicopter experience is desired)

-Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles as applied to aviation and must be able to use/interpret diagrams, blue prints and technical publications.
