As a Driver License Examiner Assistant, you will help provide driver licensing and associated services to the public. Your duties will include administering standardized knowledge tests and vision screenings to applicants, as well as entering test results and customer applications for driver license services. In this position, you will respond to questions and concerns from the public, provide information or services relating to license renewals and transfers, and maintain a knowledge of requirements for licenses and services. You can expect to help customers with the minimum requirements to obtain REAL ID or non-REAL ID products. Additionally, you may have to work overtime and travel to other Driver License Centers when needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Overtime and travel as needed
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. 
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

  • This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
