We are seeking an Human Resources Coordinator for our First Quality Tissue SE, LLC facility located in Anderson, SC. This position will be responsible for providing support in the Human Resources department for Kronos time keeping, customer service and assistance to team members, supervisors and managers, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, administering benefits, completing necessary paperwork and other HR-related tasks.
Primary responsibilities include:
- UKG timekeeping expert. Manages the UKG timekeeping system and weekly payroll reporting for Corporate Payroll to process.
- Tracks attendance, PTOs, and vacation days for hourly team members through the Kronos system. Delivers attendance warnings to be administered by managers.
- Processes payroll paperwork, i.e., pay changes, department transfers, etc.
- Maintains and manages team member leave of absence program
- Tracks team member discipline.
- Manage perfect attendance program
- Assists with preparing, coordinating and presenting information during new hire orientations for all new team members
- Responsible for administering FQ benefits, policies and other HR related information with new team members; assists team members with benefits enrollment, etc.
- Provides documentation for unemployment claims
- Assists hourly team members with questions pertaining to their paycheck and addresses other questions or concerns; follows up with team members in a timely manner
- Regularly spends time on production floor to be available to all team members on all shifts
- Manages safety shoe voucher and prescription safety glass program
- Ability to create written communication including newsletters and other HR-related communication
- Communicates to team members and leaders regarding payroll updates/changes
- Supports the FQ safety program by completing monthly safety audits, LMS training and other safety requirements
- Organizes, files and scans all information that is included in team member files
- Coordinates team member off-boarding program, i.e., submit termination forms, vacation payouts, etc.
- Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so
- Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines
- Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred
- At least two years of experience in timekeeping preferred
- Minimum of two years’ experience in HR-related role preferred
- Previous experience with Kronos/UKG or other timekeeping programs a plus
- Excellent, proven customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail a must
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule to include occasional weekends and holidays
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
- Familiar with a variety of HR and employment concepts, practices and procedures
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and objectives
- Ability to interact with all levels of management
- A certain degree of creativity and ability to make decisions
