This seasonal, part-time position supports the operations of the Hershey Country Club’s food and beverage outlets, with a primary focus on McCarthy Deck. The role involves overseeing staff and ensuring the overall quality and consistency of service in these areas.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

  • Maintain guest service and hospitality standards through interaction with guests and monitoring employees on the floor. Ensure proper execution of all service standards set by management.

  • Perform table touches regularly throughout the shift to collect feedback from guests.

  • Understand all F&B items offered: ingredients, allergens, methods of preparation, and proper service.

  • Complete inventories as needed or scheduled.

  • Ensure proper cash control procedures are followed daily.

  • Assist manager in weekly administrative work such as scheduling and timekeeping. Perform data entry and other assistance as requested.

  • Conduct food service and other training for front-of-house staff in order to set the example for guest-friendly service.

  • Monitor and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards for front-of-house restaurant staff.

  • Ensure the work and service areas are clean and organized.

  • Cross train and support other F&B outlets as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 years of related experience.

  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.

  • 18 years of age or older.

  • Post-Employment - ServSafe Handler & RAMP

  • Completion of high school or GED

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Keyboarding skills and computer literacy.

  • Knowledge and experience in POS system(s).

  • Able to anticipate guest needs and respond promptly

  • Exercise clear judgment in pressure situations and maintain professionalism.

  • Proven employee/guest relations, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Abide by appearance standards and be able to maintain hospitality standards.

  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
