In this role, you'll play a key part in protecting critical facilities and pipelines from corrosion and long-term wear...work that truly makes a difference.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by taping off sensitive areas and sandblasting steel to "near white" metal

  • Apply primer, paint, and clear coat using a forced-air spray pot

  • Excavate around pipes to remove and replace anti-corrosion wrap

  • Follow detailed specifications and safety procedures to deliver high-quality results

  • Work as part of a team that values QUALITY, CRAFTSMENSHIP, ACCOUNTABILITY, and SAFETY

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Experience using a sandblaster and forced-air spray pot

  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Commitment to working safely and following company safety policies

  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates

  • Willingness to travel daily to worksites in the Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio region.

Physical Requirements

Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Considerable time spent standing; Job requires wearing common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and hard hats; Considerable time spent using hands to handle control or feel objects, tools or controls. Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently required to talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities required include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Working Environment

Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; extreme heat and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and vibration; loud working environment.
