About the Position:
Serves as a Maintenance Worker and Facility Maintenance Inspector for the Project Lake Office/Area Office performing a variety of maintenance, operation and inspection duties.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Maintenance Worker without more than normal supervision. Skilled in machinery repair, carpentry, sandblasting, painting, pipefitting, welding, roofing, inspections, concrete maintenance and repair. I operate heavy equipment to include but not limited to overhead cranes, skid steers, dump trucks, aerial lifts, motorboats and forklifts to safely and accurately maneuver supplies and materials to accomplish repairs, replacement or creation of projects. Considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

Physical Effort: Uses moderate physical effort to stack, load, unload, move and carry tools, equipment and materials ranging in weight from 10 lbs. to 50 lbs. unassisted. Occasionally lifts heavier objects with assistance (e.g., using a hand truck). Required to reach, walk, stand, stoop, bend, knew, crawl and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Occasionally works in cramped quarters, or from ladders, scaffolds or platforms.
Working Conditions: Work is performed inside and outside in all types of weather (e.g., heat, cold, rain, wind etc.) and usually in a dirty, dusty and/or greasy environment. Incumbent is exposed to the possibility of broken bones, electrical shocks, burns, cuts, bruises, maimed fingers and scrapes. Occasionally is required to wear uncomfortable protective clothing.
