PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Manage BIM software model to assist in project construction and ensure models accuracy against physical construction progress.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  1. Facilitate the execution of model-based construction.
  2. Aid project personnel with BIM program activities.
  3. Coordinate with subcontractors for model-based construction coordination and record modeling.
  4. Assist with the development of Project Execution Plans (PxP) and internal processes for 3D construction coordination and record modeling, and sequencing on the project.
  5. Understand Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and help control the project plan and activities and integrate with the model based construction approach.
  6. Facilitate meetings and coordination with all functional stakeholders as required to maintain a digital model-based approach to construction.
  7. Perform construction modeling to report all interference issues and resolve these issues prior to construction activities.
  8. Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Education and experience requirements include: Associates' degree in Construction Management, Computer Aided Design & Drafting, or related field. A minimum of ten (10) years experience in computer aided design & drafting and/or construction industry. Self-motivated individual with ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
