TE Connectivity in Middletown, PA is looking for a Logistics Analyst to identify opportunities and lead projects to drive cost savings and reduce supply chain risks through value chain design & network optimization. Lead cross-functionally with Global Logistics, Trade Compliance, Procurement & Material Management to perform feasibility study and execute projects to completion. Liaise with finance to estimate and track project savings, support the forecast and accrual process for freight and duties. Identify areas for process improvement within the supply chain and support continuous improvement in accordance with TEOA (TE Operating Advantage) standards. Project Management: Develop a project plan with defined scope, goals, and deliverables. Manage timelines, actions, and maintain project documentation. Provide regular updates to leadership and promptly escalate roadblocks. Identify and engage subject-matter experts or other functions as required by the project. Seek resolution for roadblocks and delegate tasks as necessary for project success. Collaborate closely with the Finance team to track project savings and assess freight performance. Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis and visualization tools to identify and evaluate opportunities. Gather data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Generate reports and dashboards to track key metrics and provide visibility to leadership. Work with the Finance department to analyze and estimate project savings, ensuring opportunities are included in the budget and quarterly consensus forecasts. Use specialized software such as Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru, Tableau, SAP IBP & Python. Continuous Improvement: Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to estimate the impact of process improvements and ensure the successful implementation of process changes.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 1 year of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.
Special Requirements: Requires 1 year of experience with the following:
- Analytical and data interpretation - Data analysis, using statistical and quantitative techniques to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Project management - Project life cycles, scope management, scheduling, and risk management.
- Supply chain management - Supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, demand forecasting. Familiarity with ERP concept, SAP, and SAP business intelligence.
- Problem-solving - Ability to analyze issues and risks, make informed decisions and implement solutions effectively.
- Financial management - Financial acumen, including knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis.
