As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will provide expert engineering knowledge of enterprise IT and security solutions, perform architectural analysis, and support compliance with Department of Defense and federal cybersecurity policies. Specific duties entail assisting with the development of security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments, as well as designing secure cloud architecture and implementing security controls to protect data and applications. Utilize your expertise to provide engineering recommendations and resolution for integration and testing issues. This professional also conducts regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six years of professional information technology experience and a bachelor’s degree; or
- Ten years of professional information technology experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must possess 5+ years of experience in cloud security or related cybersecurity roles.
- You must possess 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- You must possess 5+ years of experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- AWS Certified Security certification.
- Azure Security Engineer certification.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
