This position provides administrative support to the Procurement Department. This will require coordinating with vendors, processing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

  • Create check requests and Purchase Orders using company eProcurement system.*

  • Receive incoming deliveries.*

  • Receive purchase orders.*

  • Confirm, monitor due dates, expedite, and follow up of existing purchase orders.*

  • Upload Purchasing Agreements in Cobblestone.*

  • Work with Accounts Payable to process invoices.*

  • Complete new vendor request and follow up with vendors on HE&R Terms & Conditions.*

  • Acquire pricing from vendors*

  • Update the procurement project Google spreadsheet with pricing and tracking of deliveries.*

  • Organize the bid sheets for RFPs.*

  • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with coworkers and vendors.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

  • Completion of high school or GED.

Qualifications:

  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word and Google.

  • Proficient working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time.

  • Professional image representative of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts image and core

Job Demands:

  • Office environment

  • Typical schedule of 10-20 hours per week during regular office hours (8 am to 5 pm)

  • Physical demands include: sitting, reaching, finger dexterity, and repetitive motions
