Your Impact
- Partner with the line producer in real-time to transform discussions into on-air execution strategies involving high queues, poor sales, bring-backs for sell outs, sell time changes, Pal lineup changes, advance orders.
- Authority to add or change items in a show based on productivity. Monitor all items that are scheduled to air multiple times over the weekend and make necessary changes to shows. Research options to maximize sales which would include checking guest availability, inventory adjustments, and waitlist eligibility.
- Authority to approve or deny changes to the information for the live show broadcast based on inaccuracies found or requests received (i.e. requests from Hosts, Guests, Merchandising, and Coordinating Producers). Confirm all systems are adjusted.
- Manage the 'kick off' of the Today's Special Value during the midnight sell. Verify that inventory is available and adjusted to have enough quantity available to sell through the morning shows.
- Initiate and complete all change forms to add or remove products from a show, change show line up, pricing or product descriptions. Communicate the changes made to all necessary areas (i.e. Line Producers, Coordinating Producers, Control Room, Associate Producers, Planners, VRU).
- Be a real-time central contact for immediate business issues that improve the live business. Work with management of all levels across the company (i.e. Broadcasting, Planning, Merchandising, IT, and Customer Service). Research problems and offer solutions related to live show issues. Communicate business-critical direction to appropriate areas.
- Communicate extraordinary occurrences that impact sales, product or show to Planning Management.
- Manage Advance Orders (i.e. adjust inventory on advance orders based on sales performance and vendor commitments). Authority to decide if the advance order is used. Coordinate the timing of the execution with the Line Producer and Associate Producers.
- Direct Associate Producers to close and open items in scripts.
- Review shows at the start of the shift and identify any special scripting needs (i.e. Gift with Purchase, Today's Special Values, One Time Only, Advance Orders). Communicate any potential opportunities/challenges in the upcoming shows to necessary areas and work to resolve.
- Manage incoming calls to the Line Planners Desk from different areas (i.e. Control room, IT, Planning, Merchandising, Ops Desk, Call Centers, Coordinating Producer). Investigate and resolve product discrepancies and related problems.
- Calculate sales information in the moment of the live broadcast in order for total quantity sold to be voiced on air. Requests may come from multiple areas (i.e. Line Producers, Planning SVP/VPs/Directors/Managers, vendors, buyers).
- Perform other related activities as assigned by Management.
What You Bring
