About the Position:
Serves in a dual capacity as Chief, Management and Disposal Branch, and Assistant Chief, Real Estate Division fully sharing responsibility to manage the USACE Pittsburgh District realty program.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience serving in a Realty Specialist or related position with technical expertise of real estate principles, policies and methodologies in managing government real estate functions to include planning, acquisition, mapping, appraisal, disposal, leases, easements, outgrants, licenses, or permits; managing or administering various real estate projects and programs through subordinate branch and field project office(s); and reviewing, interpreting, and providing guidance on real estate issues, policies, and changes impacting real estate management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12 or above).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
