Description Come work for an exciting retailer who is one of the leading purveyors of wine and spirits in the United States.  As a $2.5B retailer operating 600+ Fine Wine and Good Spirits retail locations as well as several wholesale locations, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is looking for innovative IT professionals that have experience with Oracle Retail Merchandising Suite (RMS and SIM) or Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) of products.  Candidates must be customer service oriented, energetic, willing to learn.

This position will provide technical work for the development and maintenance of the PLCB's Oracle Retail and Financial ERP application systems.
This position is responsible for the analysis, design, planning, development, testing, maintenance, and documentation of significant components of the PLCB's ERP system. Work includes applications development and maintenance responsibility for:

Oracle Retail Management Systems (RMS)
Oracle Retail Pricing Management (RPM)
Oracle Store Inventory Management (SIM)
Oracle EBS Order Management (OM)
Oracle Portals such as: Supplier Portal (including new item introduction, special order portal, special purchase allowance and online ordering portal (LOOP))
Appworx / One Automation interface run instructions and interface monitoring

The incumbent in this position will also be responsible for supporting other retail applications as assigned by their supervisor. Work involves analyzing business requirements, developing and validating detailed functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions and workflow objects, monitoring daily scheduled interfaces to and from application systems, developing and executing unit, integration and user acceptance test scripts.

The incumbent is also responsible for general data administration.  This would include recommending consistent data sources for specific information, as well as purge strategies where applicable when implementing new programs or reports.  More specific administration would be to ensure that data is accurately transferred between systems (such as between RMS and the Warehouse Managements Systems, or RMS and SIM, or RMS and EBS).  This data would include Supplier, Item, Customer, Purchase Orders, Advance Shipping Notifications, Customer Orders, and Inventory Adjustments.Qualifications:

  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Information
    Technology Generalist 1, Applications Developer 1, or Network Specialist 1; or two years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or four years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services; or a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • This position requires a minimum of 13 months of full-time experience working with SQL.
