Description

As an Operations Manager, you will serve as a Senior Specialist and manage and oversee the work of a team of Building Managers and Building Management Specialists.

Location of position: Public Buildings Service, Property Management Division, Philadelphia, PA.

We are currently filling 1 vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The incumbent will be expected to report to a GSA facility in the Mid-Atlantic Region at least 6x per pay period. At this time we are filling 1 vacancy, however additional vacancies may be filled from this announcement as needed. 

As an Operations Manager you will:

  • Review work performed in program areas to ensure compliance with performance standards and general operating guidelines; assure that specific services provided to buildings tenants are responsive to customer needs and in compliance with levels of service, contract provisions and established codes and standards; develop, implement and monitor programs related to tenant safety and comfort, such as energy conservation, safety, and fire and security protection; oversees technical service operations (e. g. building construction and modification); conduct periodic inspections of buildings and equipment to determine need and timing of repairs and submit required reports to the Field Office Manager, PMD Director and/or Deputy Director.
  • Provide contract administration, lease management and quality assurance support on behalf of tenant agencies and GSA.
  • Appraise operational performance, progress, program status and trends to assure established program objectives, goals and schedules are being attained for assigned building(s)/properties.
  • Channel information to appropriate program managers and upon request, represents them in making local contacts on matters affecting their programs.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $116,123.00 per year. 

To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the full range of real estate programs including design, construction, building, space management and leasing, procurement, safety, environmental management, and project management.

This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
Salary116,123.00 - 150,962.00 Annual
