This position is responsible for completing the scheduling process and coordinating the daily work assignments of the schedule, providing optimal staffing coverage for the Food & Beverage department. This position assists with the setup and configuration of the scheduling system and related database components to ensure the automated scheduling engines are available and running at optimal capacity based on each position and department. This position will ensure all availability requests are processed, schedule templates are created/updated and schedules are finalized and submitted for final posting. This position will create staffing levels for each department based on the hours of business operation.

Job Functions:

  • Execute scheduling steps within Workforce Management and related scheduling databases, including initial employee setup within databases, processing employee availability requests, shift and schedule template creation and edits, schedule rollouts, and completion and audit of final schedules prior to posting. *
  • Analyze and react to business trends as related to revenue and operational needs, communicating with department managers and supervisors, providing them with regular staffing updates and reports, and coverage gaps or anticipated challenges. This includes monitoring projected attendance and adjusting staffing levels as needed. *
  • Serve as the primary contact with the leadership team to analyze labor dollars and hours, identifying any discrepancies. *
  • Actively maintain Employee Rosters, making sure to identify gaps/trends with regards to staffing and availability. This includes tracking employee availability and shift preferences, communicating with employees who miss a shift, and recording attendance points for employees. *
  • Serve as a member of the management team for the Food & Beverage Department. This includes pulling MOD shifts, attending department and Entertainment Complex meetings, and assisting team members with additional responsibilities as they arise. *
  • Assist in the development and execution of departmental training sessions. *
  • Serve as Department MOD and or assist operations during key operational needs. *
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 1 year of experience in lieu of education.
  • Minimum of 2 year(s) of experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year(s) of supervisory experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Skilled in the use of Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Proficient working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining schedules.
  • Experience in working with software-generated schedules and Human Capital Management systems is preferred.
