Post University is seeking an Assistant Football Coach – Special Teams Coordinator (full time) to join our growing team.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Football Coach – Special Teams Coordinator is responsible for positively developing all Post University Football Program aspects. This is a full-time position. Off-season coaching and recruiting/retention responsibilities will begin upon hiring. This position requires night and weekend work and regular travel (both recruiting and team travel). We are seeking individuals with coaching expertise in the following areas:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist the Head Coach in recruiting and retaining highly skilled athletes for the Football program.
- Assist with the overall practice and special teams game planning. (possibly one additional position group)
- Responsible for the direction, supervision, and instruction of each special teams and the fundamentals, details, and strategies of special teams play and the overall functionality of the special teams for a successful football program.
- Counsel student-athletes in personal development and academic and athletic performance.
- Work with the Admissions Office to recruit and enroll student-athletes.
Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or successful equivalency is required.
- Demonstrated expertise in coaching football; minimum of 4 years coaching experience at NCAA level – playing experience at a high NCAA level is required.
- Ability to work in concert with Head Coach and other Assistant Coaches to lead and motivate student-athletes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
